Yes. A $200 non-refundable deposit is required to book any tattoo appointment. The deposit goes toward the cost of your tattoo.

I allow one free reschedule, provided I am given a minimum of 48 hours notice. Rescheduling without 48 hours notice will result in the loss of your deposit. Last minute cancellations and No Call No Shows will also result in the loss of your deposit. If you arrive more than 30 minutes late with no attempt to contact me or the shop, your deposit will be forfeited.

I can sometimes work with a budget depending on how open you are to adjusting the design to fit your price range. This could mean simplifying the design or decreasing the size to reduce the time needed. If you have a budget in mind, be sure to mention it in the booking form.

If budget is a concern, I also offer payment through Klarna, Afterpay, and Affirm as alternative options. Please notify me in advance if you'd like to use one of these — they must be approved before your tattoo session.

The number of sessions can vary depending on the size of the area and whether it's an arm or leg. A full arm sleeve can take anywhere from 5–7 full day sessions, while a full leg sleeve can take 6–10 sessions.

I can sometimes do cover-ups depending on what you want covered and how open you are with the design used. Prices can also vary due to the extra work involved. I recommend filling out the booking form and including a clear photo of the existing tattoo along with a few ideas for covering it.

Leading Up To Your Appointment

In the weeks leading up to your appointment, regularly hydrate and moisturize the skin around the area getting tattooed. Keeping your skin well-hydrated and out of the sun for two or more weeks prior will make for a much easier tattooing experience and better results.

The Day Before

• Hydrate: Drink plenty of water. Well-hydrated skin takes ink better and heals much easier.
• Avoid Alcohol & Blood Thinners: Do not drink alcohol or take aspirin for at least 24 hours prior. These can thin your blood and make the tattoo process harder.
• Rest Up: Get a solid night of sleep. Being rested improves your body's ability to handle the session.
• Trim the Area: If you have an excessive amount of hair around the area getting tattooed, trim — don't shave — the area beforehand.

The Day Of

• Eat a Good Meal: Eat a balanced, protein-heavy meal 1–2 hours before. This keeps your blood sugar stable.
• Shower: Make sure you are freshly showered before heading to the shop.
• Skip Lotion on the Spot: Avoid applying heavy oils, lotions, or numbing creams to the area unless your artist asked you to.
• Wear Practical Clothing: Dress in comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that allow easy access to the tattoo location. Dark colors are recommended in case of accidental ink splatters.
• Bring Your ID: A government-issued photo ID is required.

What to Pack

• Snacks & Drinks: Bring water and snacks to keep your energy up during longer sessions.
• Entertainment: Bring your phone, headphones, or a book to keep yourself occupied during long sessions.

Immediate Care (Days 3–5)

• Leave the bandage on: Keep the covering applied by your artist on for up to 3–5 days. It is normal for the bandage to develop bubbles of blood and plasma — leave it be unless they begin to leak out. If a leak occurs or the bandage starts to peel up and expose the tattoo, immediately remove it and proceed to the next steps. Leaving the bandage on after the seal has been broken can trap bacteria and cause infection.
• The first wash: Wash your hands thoroughly with antibacterial soap before touching the tattoo. Remove the bandage and gently clean the area with lukewarm water and your fingertips — no washcloths or sponges.

The Healing Process (Days 5–14)

• Cleanse twice daily: Wash the tattoo 2 times a day using a mild, unscented antibacterial soap (e.g., Dial Gold).
• Dry properly: Pat the tattoo dry with a clean, disposable paper towel. Avoid cloth towels.
• Moisturize sparingly: Apply a very thin layer of fragrance-free, water-based lotion (like Aveeno or Lubriderm) only after the skin is completely dry. Do not over-moisturize.

The Peeling & Itching Phase

• Don't pick or scratch: The tattoo will scab, flake, and itch — this is normal. Never pick at scabs or pull at peeling skin as this can cause ink loss and scarring.
• Relieve itching: Gently pat the tattoo or apply a cold compress rather than scratching.

What to Avoid

• No water submersion: Avoid pools, hot tubs, oceans, lakes, and baths until fully healed (typically 2–4 weeks).
• Stay out of the sun: Keep the tattoo out of direct sunlight. Do not apply sunscreen to a healing tattoo — cover it with loose, breathable clothing instead.
• Avoid tight clothing: Wear loose, cotton clothing to prevent friction and irritation.
• Avoid heavy products: Steer clear of petroleum jelly and thick antibiotic ointments, which can block pores and impede healing.

I sometimes add color accents to my tattoos but I do not do full color tattoos.

Absolutely! If you want to schedule multiple days in a row, be sure to let me know when filling out the booking form. I recommend no more than 3 consecutive days, as anything beyond that can take a significant toll on the body.

Availability varies throughout the year, but I'm generally booking a few months out. I take appointments Monday through Friday, with select weekends available at an increased rate. All appointments start at 10:00 AM unless otherwise discussed.

I'll never tattoo the same exact design I put on another client. However, if it's an iconic scene, pose, or panel from a series, I'll design something similar but still completely original for you.
